Blogging the reboot

If you’re planning to follow this blog, there are some things you should know up front:

  1. Blogging “rules” be damned. I’m not very interested in other people’s rules for my own writing.
  2. That means I won’t have a regular schedule for posting here. I’ll post when I have something to say. No one needs more drivel in their lives.
  3. Not all of my life is up for grabs. I’m using this blog to help me think, help me act, and help me figure something out that my mediation and conflict coaching clients ask about all the time. But some things just won’t be any of your business.
  4. R’s my love first and my guinea pig last. While not the type of wife who asks my husband for permission to do things, I’m offering him right of first refusal here. If something goes up that deeply trouble him, I’ll yank or edit. As I said, blogging rules be damned.
  5. Comments will be left open. Have at it.

Tammy, I’m in! I’m especially in because at 23 years married, we’re got some undergrowth to clear out too. And the other reason…I have a sneaky feeling another book is getting born…

Lisa, I’m so glad you came by and will be following my journey at the Reboot. 23 years! I have to say that 20 years have gone by in the blink of an eye and I love my guy more every year.

Good for you! I’m glad you’re stating this up front. I’m happy you are sharing this journey, and I admire your courage to do what is right for you and your husband.

    LJ, thanks for stopping in!

I knew when I started this Reboot idea — doing it publicly, that is, that I was going to need to set my own rules. And, as a mediator, I know the importance of managing others’ expectations up front.

Thanks for letting me know you approve of this approach!
