Memory leaks and software glitches

“As networks grow in size and complexity and more interdependent hardware is added, the potential for failure also grows. The added hardware is subject to all of the incompatibilities, software glitches, electrical disturbances, dirty power and other effects that cause them to occasionally hang and need to be reset” (source).

Most days, my marriage is great. But now and then, it’s like a computer network that’s gotten too complex.

Incompatibilities? Check.

Glitches? Check.

Electrical disturbances? Oh yeah.

Dirty power? On occasion, yes.

And let’s not forget memory leaks, those moments when a “program fails to release memory when no longer needed” (source). Oh baby, we could use to get rid of some memory leaks for sure!

What we need is a good reboot. So we will.

Tammy, I’m in! I’m especially in because at 23 years married, we’re got some undergrowth to clear out too. And the other reason…I have a sneaky feeling another book is getting born…

Lisa, I’m so glad you came by and will be following my journey at the Reboot. 23 years! I have to say that 20 years have gone by in the blink of an eye and I love my guy more every year.
